Angela Aaron is an International costume designer and Wardrobe Stylist in Los Angeles’s local 705 Costumers Union. Her styling career began in Europe styling new male and female models for Prague’s top modeling agencies. Her work quickly caught the eye of the publishers at Hearst Publications and in short order Angela was the Fashion Editor of Czech Esquire magazine until her return to the US.
After 3 years abroad and a strong foundation in men’s styling, the lure of Southern California living coupled with a thriving entertainment and commercial media market made Los Angeles the perfect place to call home. There, Angela’s styling repertoire grew to include working for multiple publications, advertising agencies and photographers on commercials and music videos and print ad shoots. In 2011 she expanded into the world of theatrical production and since then her costumes have performed on stages all over the world in cities and venues such as the Sydney Opera House, Tokyo, Dubai, London’s West End and as of 2014, New York City’s Broadway.
Her outlook on her career is thus: Creating impactful images and characters that stand the test of time, in every assignment is paramount. The most rewarding part of the work of a stylist and costume designer is being part of a team of amazingly talented people. Every job takes a vision from dream to reality, and that is what is truly engaging.
